Q: Will this change my current local or long distance phone service?

A: No. Your current phone services stay exactly the same.

Q: Is there an Activation or Setup Fee?

A: Yes. While other companies charge $20-$50 to activate or set up, we thought it important to make the service as low priced as possible. The one-time activation fee for GenieVOX is $10.00

Q: What happens after the $1.00 (30 day) Trial?

A: Nothing changes with your service. You will be charged the corresponding one-time activation fee in the amount of $10.00 and your first monthly fee in the amount of $4.95 and $5.00 for prepaid calling time, (total $19.95). Outbound telephone calls nationwide and to Canada are a flat rate of four cents ($0.04) per minute. There are no hidden costs or gimmicks. You can cancel the service anytime you want without any penalty. You only get charged for telephone calls when you are using the system.

Q: When is my Monthly Fee charged?

A: GenieVOX Monthly Fees will be charged on the same day of the month that you activated service, or the 28th of the month, whichever is earlier. So, for example, if you activated your GenieVOX on the 15th, your billing date would be the 15th of each month, and if you activated on the 30th, your billing date would be the 28th of each month.

Q: How do I pay for my telephone calls?

On activation you will have a prepaid calling time account established (Genie Balance) with bonus calling time of 25 minutes ($1) as well as the $5 calling time (125 minutes) which was included in your sign up charges. If you use any of the outbound and inbound telephone calls you will be charged four per minute ($0.04), the per minute charges are deducted from this prepaid balance. When the balance drops below your selected floor limit, your card will be charged to replenish your calling time balance, the recharge amount is determined by you, based on your calling needs.

The default floor limit and recharge amounts are set by you. If the defaults recharge amounts do not work for you, simply let us know and we will be happy to analyze your usage patterns and set up the best parameters for you.

Q: Is there a one-year contract or penalty for canceling?

A: No. You are simply on a month to month basis. You can cancel anytime, any month you want and not be penalized.

Q: What happens after I press the 'submit' button to enter my credit card?

A: Within seconds we will send you to a confirmation page where we issue you your own Toll Free Genie Number and your password. This page will also provide you some instructions on how to start using your GenieVOX and we will send you more details via email. You will be sent a welcome letter with all of your information, including additional instructions on how to use your GenieVOX. Initially you get a bonus of 25 free minutes and are only charged $1.00 for the 30 day trial. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3...

Q: What are the benefits to International customers?

A: We provide International customers with the ability to have a presence in the U.S. and Canada with their own Toll Free and phone numbers. This allows U.S. customers the ability to leave phone messages are delivered as an email attachment internationally without having to pay international rates. These phone messages can be received online, saving tons of money as well!

Q: What are the benefits of a Toll Free?

A: The Toll Free number is great for people calling you because it is Toll Free for them, and you incur a discounted per-minute charge of four cents a minute with the. With GenieVOX you get a Toll Free number good anywhere in the USA and Canada!
